Duties
- Perform qualified massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques to address client-specific concerns and promote relaxation
- Conduct thorough client assessments to develop customized treatment plans that align with their health goals
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of treatments provided, including client progress and preferences
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain procedures,
and answer questions clearly
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing body in your region
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive client experience
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Previous experience in massage therapy or related healthcare fields is preferred but not mandatory; training provided for new graduates
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards at all times
