We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Home Cleaner to join our team at Homemakers Company!
We are an eco friendly cleaning company located out of Waterdown, ON. We work in the areas of Burlington, Waterdown, Carlisle, Dundas, and Hamilton (may include surrounding areas)
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments.
Ideally you would also have cleaning experience but can be trained!
This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and spaces. (including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Cleaning out fridges, ovens and microwaves. General tidying of spaces.)
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to maintain consistency in service delivery.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
- Interact professionally with clients, addressing any specific requests or concerns regarding cleaning services and reporting back to management when needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Must have your own vehicle to transport yourself to and from work each day and to your clients homes throughout the day
- Previous experience in professional cleaning or residential cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
