A.J. Sports is looking for a general assistant to support the president and the team. No two days look exactly alike — the role covers small tasks, cleaning, errands, and general support wherever it's needed.
We're open to candidates looking for consistent part-time work or a full-time position.
Qualifications:
- Prior professional house cleaning experience required
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and strong at following through to make sure tasks get completed
- Comfortable working across multiple locations
- Must be based in or able to commute to Toronto
- Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable for our insurance
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional-level cleaning at the office and at the owner's residence
- Assist with warehouse cleanliness, organization, inventory counts, and similar duties
- Provide general office assistance and run errands as needed by the team
Optional Responsibilities (for full-time candidates): Candidates looking for a full time, 40-hour position will have the opportunity to train with our sewing team leader on our industrial zig-zag sewing machine, including:
- Sewing layered twill numbers and letters onto hockey jerseys
- Cutting twill numbers and letters from rolls of fabric
- Clipping stray threads, folding, and packaging finished jerseys after production
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
