We are seeking an experienced residential snow‑removal crew member to join our team on a part‑time or on‑call basis. Ideal for someone who knows winter operations, can work independently, and can perform basic equipment maintenance.
Duties
- Clear residential sidewalks, walkways, and driveways using shovels, blowers, sweepers, or small equipment
- Apply ice melt when required
- Perform basic equipment maintenance (fueling, greasing, blade checks, minor troubleshooting)
- Respond promptly to call‑outs during snow events
- Work safely and professionally in cold conditions
- Communicate site issues or hazards.
Requirements
- 1+ year residential or commercial snow‑removal experience
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends,
and holidays during snow events
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in winter
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to operate snow blowers, sweepers, or similar equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment checks.
“on‑call” means:
- Work only during snow events
- Must be reachable and able to report within 30 minutes
- Hours vary depending on snowfall
- Chance for extra hours during heavy storms
Pay: $16.62-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
