Part Time Sales Associate – Forest of Flowers 16-30+ hours weekly, up to 40+ hours during floral holidays 109 Fanshawe Park Road East

Do you have a natural flair for customer service and a creative eye for design? Forest of Flowers is looking for a friendly, energetic, and motivated Part Time Sales Associate to join our team at our Fanshawe Park Road location.

We're seeking someone who thrives in a busy retail environment, loves connecting with people, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping experience. A passion for flowers and design is an asset, but your enthusiasm for learning and delivering exceptional service is what matters most.

This is a genuine, ongoing part-time position — we're looking for someone who wants to stay with us for the long term, not a short-term or seasonal role.

Availability

This role requires open, flexible daytime availability across the full week — it is not compatible with a full time fixed class or school schedule. You must be available to work any shift within the following hours, based on business needs:

- Monday–Friday: 9am–6pm
- Saturday: 9am–5pm
- Sunday: 11am–4pm
- Overtime hours available at floral holidays (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day)

You won't be scheduled for every shift above, but you need to be genuinely available across all of them so we can build a schedule that works around business needs and keeps the team properly staffed year-round. Your schedule will include 2-3 weekends per month.

What You'll Do

- Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism, making every visit a positive experience




- Enter customer orders quickly and accurately into our POS system
- Support retail sales efforts and help drive store success
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Maintain clean, organized, and beautifully merchandised displays
- Process fresh floral products and assist with simple design work (training provided)

What We're Looking For
- Previous retail sales experience (required)
- Open daytime weekday and weekend availability, as described above (required)
- Confidence using POS systems and computers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you love working with people
- Sales-driven, detail-oriented, and focused on customer care
- Positive, problem-solving attitude with a willingness to learn
- Floral design experience is a plus, but not required – training will be provided for basic design skills (e.g., bouquets, rose wraps)
- Professional, dependable, and enthusiastic team player
- Must be willing to work at another London location upon occasion
- Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 25–40 lbs
- Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours
- Repetitive use of hands (e.g., floral design, register use)
- Exposure to pollen and floral materials
