Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Robot Welding Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain robotic welding equipment to produce precision sub-assemblies. Your expertise in welding techniques, mechanical systems, and fabrication processes will ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production line.

Duties

- Set up, program, and operate robotic welding systems to produce hydraulic cylinders according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic welders and associated machinery to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of parts
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers,



and machining equipment such as drill press machines for component assembly and finishing
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools like calipers and basic math calculations to verify dimensions and weld integrity
- Assist with rigging, assembly, and other fabrication tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, crane operation, forklift handling, and general manufacturing procedures

Experience
- 5+ years experience setting up and operating MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding robots.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and blueprint reading skills
- Familiarity with robotic welding equipment operation or programming is highly desirable
- Knowledge of rigging practices, crane operation, and forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to work safely with forklifts and adhere to safety standards related to welding environments
