Reports To: Housekeeping Manager / Housekeeping Supervisor

Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about creating a clean and comfortable experience for hotel guests?

Courtyard by Marriott Brampton is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing guestrooms in accordance with Marriott brand standards while providing professional and courteous service to our guests.

What You’ll Do

- Clean and service assigned guestrooms within established quality and productivity standards.
- Make beds and replace linens, pillowcases, towels, and other guestroom items.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, and floors.
- Dust furniture, clean surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and remove garbage and recycling.
- Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, coffee supplies, stationery, and other required room items.
- Ensure guestrooms are fully stocked, properly arranged, and presented according to Marriott brand standards.
- Complete stayover housekeeping service and vacant-room cleaning based on daily assignments.
- Respect guest privacy and follow hotel procedures for occupied rooms and Do Not Disturb signs.




- Maintain an organized and properly stocked housekeeping cart throughout the shift.
- Use linen, guest supplies, cleaning products, and equipment responsibly to minimize waste.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, damages, missing items, safety hazards, and unusual activity.
- Properly handle and document lost-and-found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Update room status and communicate completed rooms, discrepancies, and operational concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and interactions.
- Follow all Marriott brand standards, workplace health and safety requirements, chemical-handling procedures, and hotel policies.
- Assist with additional housekeeping duties and deep-cleaning projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to complete room assignments efficiently.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the Housekeeping team.




- Professional and respectful communication when interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to safely push and operate a fully stocked housekeeping cart.
- Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays based on hotel occupancy and operational requirements.
