Vestcor has a full-time position available for a Specialist, Investment Performance.

Located in Fredericton, Vestcor is the largest investment manager in Atlantic Canada, providing global investment management services to 11 different client groups representing approximately $24.4 billion in assets under management. We also provide administration services to 11 pension plans and five employee benefit plans.

A member of the Investment Performance Team, this position is responsible for providing information to investment management staff on the performance of the Vestcor Investment Entities and our clients. In addition to maintaining various Excel spreadsheets, the Specialist Investment Performance will produce specialized reports calculating performance and attribution results. The responsibilities of the position include daily maintenance of the benchmark file and data hub, performing verification checks of the client asset class returns as well as monthly and quarterly checks of various total fund and client reports.

The ideal candidate requires a post-secondary degree in a relevant field with some practical related work experience or a minimum of five (5) years of combined education / work experience in the accounting/finance field.



A Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) or a willingness to enroll in the CIPM program would be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, and excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite. Written and spoken competence in English is required.
