We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for our customers by offering mobility aids, incontinence products, ostomy supplies, compression socks, bath safety products, and other essential home healthcare items. We are currently seeking motivated and customer-focused Sales Specialists to join our team at our Glenmore Landing location.
About the Job:
In this role, you will assist customers in selecting appropriate medical supplies and equipment, provide product education, and drive sales through exceptional service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate is proactive, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering compassionate care while achieving sales targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide outstanding in-store and phone-based customer service
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate medical supplies and equipment
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance
- Process billing and POS transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management,
restocking, and merchandising
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor
- Follow up with customers regarding product inquiries and special orders
- Support promotional activities and community outreach efforts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum three years of experience in sales or customer service (retail or healthcare experience preferred)
- Experience in home medical equipment or healthcare products is an asset
- Robust sales skills with the ability to confidently close sales
- Positive attitude, outgoing personality, and passion for helping people
- Reliable, dependable, and able to provide good references
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficiency with POS systems; experience with QuickBooks is an asset
- Social media literacy and basic marketing awareness
- Creative problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
