Responsibilities
- Assist stylists with preparing clients and setting up tools for hair services
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon areas to ensure a safe setting
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring they feel comfortable
- Support retail sales by recommending hair care products aligned with client needs and upselling where appropriate
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and organizing products
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn hair styling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas
- Basic knowledge of retail sales principles and upselling techniques is a plus
- Prior experience in front desk or reception roles is desirable but not required
- Must be reliable, proactive, and eager to grow within a fast-paced workplace
