QuEra Computing, Inc. is looking for a Scientific Software Engineer to address unique software challenges in quantum computing. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a vibrant scientific team and industry experts while building the compiler pipeline using the open-source toolchain Kirin. Expect to focus on compiling high-level applications, maintaining domain-specific languages, and developing infrastructure for quantum error correction (QEC).
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain domain-specific languages for the compilation pipeline • Support customers with usage questions and technical issues • Create comprehensive documentation for our SDK Bloqade • Collaborate with scientists on hardware features for QEC algorithms • Deliver current language and hardware features with the scientific software team
Requirements: • Ph.D. in Computer Science or Physics related to quantum fields • Experience with Python semantics and CPython APIs • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle • Enthusiasm for building tools and documentation for non-developers • Knowledge of compiler engineering and LLVM/MLIR principles
