We are looking for a seasonal AZ Driver to deliver large quantities of propane from producer/wholesaler outlets in Sudbury to Budget Propane storage yards in Muskoka (Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Mactier & Minden) during our peak season (September – April).
Core responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
· Drive our cargo liner from its base in Gravenhurst to producer/wholesale outlets in Sudbury and to any of our storage yards in Muskoka
· Complete professional pre-trip inspection of vehicle and trailers prior to using equipment
· Follow all MTO related regulations
· Communicate and coordinate with Freight & Logistics Coordinators on timing and location of deliveries
· Communicate and coordinate vehicle repairs with Fleet Manager
Other duties:
· Wash vehicle and trailers routinely at designated wash areas
· Keep vehicle clean and professional
· Other duties as required/identified
Knowledge & Skills Required:
· Must have a Class AZ Ontario Drivers Licence in good standing
· Excellent defensive driving skills
· Experience with electronic logbooks and other online applications
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the use of technology and digital tools
Hours: This is a full-time seasonal position. The seasonal shift is as follows:
September 1st – April 30th: Monday to Friday from 7:00AM - 5:00PM, including weekends, statutory holidays and overtime as needed.
Start and end times may vary with business needs.
Loading times will be based on the scheduled pickup determined by Freight & Logistics Coordinators.
