About Fortexa Security Solutions
Fortexa Security Solutions is a Montreal security and low-voltage contractor. We install and service IP cameras, intercoms, access control and network cabling for apartment buildings, stores, warehouses and offices across Greater Montreal and Laval.
We are looking for an installer / helper to work on installations and service calls.
What you will be doing
Running and terminating Cat6 cable
Mounting, aiming and connecting IP cameras
Installing and wiring intercoms and access control hardware
Conduit, drilling and anchors, with clean and tidy cable work
Basic setup on the recorder and the network (we will show you our way of doing it)
Keeping the site clean and documenting the job with photos
What you need
Some hands-on experience: tools, running cable, and camera or intercom installation. You do not have to be an expert, but this is not a role where we train from zero.
Comfortable working on a ladder
Valid driver's licence
Reliable and on time
Assets (not required)
French and English
Own vehicle
Experience with Dahua, Hikvision or Uniview cameras and NVRs
Experience with Akuvox or similar IP intercoms, or with access control (readers, maglocks, strikes)
ASP construction safety card
What we offer
22 to 30 dollars per hour, based on what you can actually do
Full-time or part-time, we can work around your availability
Real commercial work across Greater Montreal and Laval
You will learn IP cameras, intercoms and access control properly, on real jobs
Straight scheduling and paid on time

Nous cherchons un installateur / aide-installateur pour travailler sur les installations et les appels de service.
Vos tâches
Passer et terminer du câble Cat6
Installer, orienter et brancher des caméras IP
Installer et câbler des interphones et du matériel de contrôle d'accès
Conduit, perçage et ancrages, avec un câblage propre et bien fait
Configuration de base de l'enregistreur et du réseau (on vous montre notre façon de faire)
Garder le chantier propre et documenter le travail avec des photos
Ce qu'il vous faut Un peu d'expérience pratique : les outils, le passage de câble, et l'installation de caméras ou d'interphones. Pas besoin d'être un expert, mais ce n'est pas un poste de formation à partir de zéro.
Être à l'aise pour travailler dans une échelle
Permis de conduire valide
Fiable et ponctuel

Véhicule personnel
