Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. Prior experience is a plus.

Duties

- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed




- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures to uphold a secure environment
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors as required, including directions or emergency response support

Requirements

- Security guard license and First aid CPR
- Valid Driver's License and Car
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Solid observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Must be at least 18 years old with a clean background check

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
