They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Backend Java Engineer to join a team-oriented, high-performing engineering team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing core products while contributing to technical decisions, application architecture, and engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise software applications, primarily using Java and related technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
- Participate in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment, including planning, estimation, and execution of development work.
- Conduct peer code reviews to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, scalability concerns, and security issues while promoting code quality and best practices.
- Contribute to software architecture, design standards, and coding guidelines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and system-level tests.
- Diagnose and resolve application, database, performance, scalability, and concurrency issues.
- Implement best practices for application design, including caching, state management, error handling, logging, scalability, environment configuration, and testing methodologies.
- Deliver high-quality solutions within committed timelines while balancing technical excellence with business needs.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming and software design skills.
- Strong proficiency in Java or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and excel in Java-based development environments.
- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience building and delivering enterprise-scale software applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and concurrency issues within applications and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Spring Framework and/or Hibernate.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with Gradle build automation tools.
- Experience developing SaaS products and platforms.
