Overview: Continental Travel Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Corporate Travel Consultant to join our team. We are looking for passionate customer service professionals with a proven track record in corporate travel management. This role offers competitive compensation and the flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive travel services, including reservations and confirmations for air, car rental, hotel, bus, rail, and insurance where appropriate.
- Deliver optimum customer service and promptly respond to emails, voicemails, and other correspondence from internal and external customers.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of travel documents, with a focus on cost savings.
- Maintain up-to-date customer profiles and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues, paying special attention to accuracy in spelling, dates, and requests.
- Collaborate with the corporate travel team to ensure coverage during vacations and assist other departments during slower periods.
- Utilize unused tickets and recommend their usage when applicable for clients.
- Recommend negotiated rates at hotels, car rentals, and air programs where applicable.
- Work closely with the Corporate Account Manager to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.
- Use all technologies and programs assigned by Continental Travel Group to support the position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in corporate travel management.
- Solid commitment to customer service and ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Experience with Apollo and/or Travelport GDS systems.
- Expertise in international fare and ticketing, including ticket exchanges and calculations.
- Proven ability to produce the lowest logical airfare within client policies.
- Excellent communication skills via email and phone.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in Canada and have unrestricted work authorization .
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and French.
