P F JOHNSON CPA PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION is a CPA Firm located in Orangeville, ON with seven employees performing compilation engagements for small owner managed companies in various industries, corporate taxes, personal taxes, trust taxes, consulting services, payroll and bookkeeping services. The Firm is seeking a CPA to step into a senior role in the firm to help manage the client base.

The ideal candidate is a CPA that is a member of CPA Ontario and has experience working for a Canadian CPA firm at a senior level.

The ideal candidate:

- is a critical thinker, and applies attention to detail when performing his/her work,
- has experience overseeing staff working on a corporate year end engagement, tax returns, and other work,
- will competently take ownership of an engagement to ensure it is completed on time and to the standards of the firm. This would include meetings/consultations with the client.
- is experienced with, and competent in, the preparation and review of: corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, trust tax returns, payroll, taxable benefits, T4/T5 preparation, EHT, HST,



various tax elections (i.e. capital divided elections), working with and responding to CRA audits/reviews,
- is experienced with corporate and personal tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, succession planning.
- working knowledge of Caseware, Cantax/TaxPrep, Sage 50, Quickbooks, Excel and Word.

The Firm has a 35 hour work week Monday to Friday (9:00 to 5:00) with additional time when/as needed during the year and specifically during tax season in March and April (the Firm is open Saturday mornings in March and April). We offer a competitive compensation wage based on experience, group benefits, matching RRSP, and additional compensation based on the Firm’s profitability.
