Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join their established private wealth practice in Saskatoon.
The Role
As a Senior Financial Planner, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth families, business owners, farm families, and incorporated professionals.
You Will
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial plans for clients
- Assess complex client situations to identify planning needs, gaps and opportunities .
- Develop recommendations across retirement, tax, estate, insurance and intergenerational planning .
- Support business transition, succession and wealth-transfer planning .
- Integrate insurance, tax, estate and investment considerations into broader financial planning strategies.
- Prepare insurance proposals, illustrations, comparisons and coverage analyses .
- Review existing insurance coverage and identify needs and planning opportunities.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers, advisors and other professional advisors to develop client recommendations.
- Prepare planning materials and recommendations for presentation by advisors and participate in client meetings where appropriate.
- Manage ongoing insurance servicing, applications, underwriting coordination and related licensing requirements.
You Have
- 4+ years of hands-on experience preparing comprehensive financial plans .
- Solid knowledge of retirement, tax, estate and insurance planning .
- Experience working with HNW clients, business owners or other complex client situations.
- CFP preferred; PFP considered with strong relevant experience.
- Experience with financial planning software such as NaviPlan, Conquest or similar.
- Advanced insurance knowledge and licensing is preferred.
