Senior Manager, EmployeeWorks Platform Delivery

As a Senior Manager, EmployeeWorks Platform Delivery at McKesson, you will lead the successful delivery, adoption, and continuous evolution of EmployeeWorks, powered by the ServiceNow and Moveworks platforms. You will serve as the overall implementation leader, people manager, and accountable Product Owner responsible for driving platform outcomes across HR, IT, Corporate Functions, Digital Workplace, and Enterprise Services.

This role combines program leadership, product ownership, stakeholder management, and team leadership. You will oversee platform delivery, roadmap execution, backlog prioritization, release planning, governance, business engagement, change management, adoption, and value realization while leading a team of implementation, platform, and AI professionals.

Your mission is to ensure EmployeeWorks delivers measurable employee and business value through effective platform implementation, strong cross functional partnerships, and disciplined product management practices.

Core Responsibilities and Impact

Platform Implementation Leadership

Lead the successful implementation and expansion of EmployeeWorks capabilities across McKesson. Drive delivery from planning and requirements through deployment, adoption, and value realization.

Product Ownership and Roadmap Management

Serve as the accountable Product Owner for EmployeeWorks, holding final decision rights on scope and sequencing:

Own and maintain the product roadmap

Manage and prioritize the platform backlog

Evaluate enhancement requests and business demand

Define release priorities and sequencing

Balance business value, technical complexity, risk, and capacity

Partner with business and technical teams to align priorities

Stakeholder Management and Governance

Act as the primary point of coordination across HR, IT, Corporate Functions, ServiceNow, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Operations, and vendor partners:

Facilitate governance forums

Drive executive alignment

Manage issue escalation and resolution

Present status, risks, adoption metrics, and roadmap updates to leadership

Build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups

Program and Delivery Management

Manage overall implementation execution, including scope, timeline, resource planning, budget oversight, dependency management, risk mitigation, change management, and executive reporting. Identify gaps between planned and actual outcomes and drive corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.

AI and Workflow Enablement

Partner with business teams to identify, design, and launch AI powered employee experiences, automations, and agentic workflows that improve employee productivity and business outcomes.

Organizational Change Management

Lead adoption, communication, training, and readiness activities to ensure successful platform utilization and employee engagement. Develop strategies and best practices that accelerate adoption and reduce organizational resistance to change.

Vendor and Platform Partnership





Partner closely with Moveworks, ServiceNow, implementation partners, and internal technology teams to drive platform improvements, issue resolution, roadmap alignment, and successful capability rollouts.

Leadership and Talent Development

Lead and develop a team of platform professionals, implementation managers, solution architects, and AI specialists. Responsibilities include:

Establishing best practices and delivery standards

Establish success measures and track the value delivered through EmployeeWorks, monitoring:

About You You are an experienced leader who combines strong implementation expertise, product management discipline, stakeholder influence, and people leadership. You excel at bringing together business and technical teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Product management mindset. You think strategically about platform evolution, prioritization, user experience, roadmap planning, and business value realization.

Delivery excellence. You have a proven track record of leading complex enterprise technology implementations from strategy through execution.

Stakeholder leadership. You excel at building credibility and partnerships across all levels of the organization, including senior executives.

People leadership. You are passionate about developing talent, coaching team members, and creating an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.

Executive communication. You can translate complex topics into clear business outcomes and confidently communicate with leadership audiences.

Qualifications To be successful in this role you have:

8+ years of experience leading enterprise platform implementations, digital transformation initiatives, or SaaS deployments.

3+ years of people leadership experience managing technical, product, program, or implementation teams.

Experience serving as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Program Manager, or Platform Leader.

Strong experience managing product backlogs, prioritization frameworks, release planning, and roadmap development.

Experience leading complex cross functional initiatives involving business, technology, operations, and vendor partners.

Demonstrated experience leveraging AI capabilities to improve processes, employee experiences, automation, and decision making.

Robust project and program management expertise including scope, resource, budget, timeline, and risk management.





Experience driving executive governance, stakeholder management, and organizational change initiatives.

Ability to analyze complex challenges, propose solutions, and lead teams through execution.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Moveworks and ServiceNow platforms.

Experience supporting employee experience, HR technology, IT service management, or enterprise self service platforms.

Agile Product Owner, Scrum Product Owner, PMP, SAFe, or related certifications.

Experience leading AI, conversational AI, copilot, virtual agent, or automation programs.

Experience managing enterprise vendors and implementation partners.

Proven success driving adoption and value realization for large scale technology platforms.
