- Location: Vars, Ontario, shop-based with regular travel to project sites

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of projects from estimate through closeout.

You’ll sit at the heart of the projects, connecting clients, BIM, Engineering, Production, and Finance to keep projects moving. You’ll manage multiple projects at different stages, balancing competing priorities while keeping internal teams and external partners aligned.

The role requires someone who understands the moving parts of complex construction or fabrication projects, from estimating and drawings through scheduling, project financials, and production. You’ll work through challenges with internal teams, keep clients informed, push projects forward, and make sure the right people have the right information at the right time.

You’ll have significant autonomy and work closely with Level Steel’s General Manager and partners. As the company grows,



you’ll also help shape and improve the project management function, bringing your experience and ideas to how we plan, communicate and execute our work.

What You’ll Do

- Own a portfolio of projects from estimate handoff through closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules across detailing, procurement, fabrication, finishing, shipping, and installation.
- Manage project budgets, costs, forecasting, billing, and overall financial performance.
- Identify, price, and manage project changes, and communicate impacts to clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate closely with BIM, Production, Procurement, Installation, and Finance to keep projects aligned.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements, and coordinate detailing, engineering, and RFIs.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Support site meetings, installation, and field issue resolution as required.
- Support estimating, including extras, and changes on existing projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, communication, and execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to the required quality standards, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel, steel fabrication, construction, or a closely related environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with project budgets, forecasting, and financial accountability.
- Experience with estimating, ideally within steel fabrication or construction.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications,



shop drawings, and erection drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction or fabrication processes and project coordination.
- Strong client-facing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong technology aptitude and the ability to work confidently across multiple digital systems.
- A valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites.

Bilingualism in English and French and professional designations such as P.Eng., C.E.T., PMP or Gold Seal are assets. We’re looking for someone who is solution-focused, adaptable, and accountable.
