Senior Resident – Department of Paediatric Nephrology Working under supervision in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology, covering both in-patient and outpatient care.

Work will include exposure and opportunities to manage children with all forms of acute and chronic kidney diseases. Inpatient care is provided in a dedicated ward with an inpatient and outpatient dialysis services. The position offers excellent exposure to hands-on management skills in the wards, ICUs and outpatient clinics, supervised procedures such as biopsies, acute dialysis access placement and the use of advanced tools such as POCUS and Ambulatory BP Monitoring.

In addition, pediatric nephrology consults are provided to other Pediatric Departments – Pediatric Medicine, NICU, PICU, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Hematoncology. Opportunities for UG and PG teaching are plentiful. Work will be alongside a team of 5 faculty, DM residents and a large multidisciplinary team.

Desired Candidate Profile Education:



Ideally candidates should have completed a training course in Pediatric Nephrology (either DM or fellowship course). Interested candidates with an MD /DNB in Paediatrics will also be considered. Functional Area: Hospital
