Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing recommendations when needed
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management, ensuring prompt service for all guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables and tasks seamlessly
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
