Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Provide attentive customer service by checking on guests regularly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments efficiently through POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space, following food handling and safety standards.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while ensuring timely service delivery.
- Performing seasonal related tasks
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly, supporting overall restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Ability to perform seasonal tasks
- Experience in bartending or serving roles is highly desirable; certification in responsible alcohol service is a bonus.
- Basic understanding of hospitality principles to create welcoming guest interactions.
