Service Coordinator

Commercial Air Compressor – Markham, ON

Full-Time | In-Office

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join our service team in Markham.

This position will be responsible for coordinating service technicians, scheduling customer calls, managing work orders, and helping keep our service department running efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in service coordination, dispatch, scheduling, or working with field technicians. Experience in HVAC, mechanical, industrial, electrical, or construction service is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Schedule and coordinate service technicians
- Manage daily technician schedules and routing
- Coordinate emergency service calls and preventative maintenance
- Answer and manage incoming service calls, emails, and customer requests
- Create and manage work orders from start to completion
- Prepare and follow up on service quotes and customer approvals
- Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and service updates
- Communicate with technicians regarding jobs, priorities, parts, and customer requirements
- Review technician recommendations and arrange required parts




- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts and materials
- Track open jobs and keep service records up to date
- Maintain accurate customer and equipment information in our CRM/ERP system
- Follow up on outstanding jobs and approvals
- Assist the Service Operations Manager and service team with day-to-day coordination and administrative tasks

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, scheduling, or a similar role
- Experience coordinating field technicians is preferred
- Experience in HVAC, mechanical, industrial, electrical, construction, or equipment service is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize urgent service calls
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM, ERP, service management software

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $58,240 – $66,560 per year

Additional Compensation: $15,000 – $20,000 per year, based on experience and performance

Total Compensation Opportunity: $73,240 – $86,560 per year
