Family Tire Limited is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our busy automotive repair and tire shop in Kentville.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, comfortable on the phone, and able to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for our customers and will help support our Service Advisors by handling routine calls, appointments, tire inquiries, customer drop-offs, and front-counter traffic.

Automotive or tire experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

- Answer incoming phone calls and help determine what the customer needs
- Greet walk-in customers and assist with routine inquiries
- Book appointments for oil changes, tire installations, inspections, maintenance, and other common services
- Provide pricing and availability on straightforward passenger and light truck tire inquiries
- Gather accurate customer, vehicle, and contact information
- Assist with vehicle, tire, and wheel drop-offs and pickups
- Take clear messages and arrange callbacks when a Service Advisor is busy
- Direct more complex mechanical, commercial, farm, fleet, or specialty inquiries to the appropriate person




- Enter and update information in our shop management system
- Help keep the front counter and daily workflow organized
- Support our Service Advisors with customer service and administrative tasks

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional and confident phone manner
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
- Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Automotive, tire, parts, dealership, or service experience is an asset, but not required

We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, learns quickly, and can stay calm and organized when things get busy. Family Tire Ltd. is a locally owned and operated automotive repair and tire business with a strong customer base and a long-standing team.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
