About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Service Delivery Manager & Technical Lead based in Canada to lead the successful delivery of Microsoft consulting engagements and serve as the primary link between clients, executives, technical consultants, and internal teams. This role combines project and delivery leadership, client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and technical oversight, requiring the ability to confidently navigate both business and technical discussions. The successful candidate will coordinate consulting resources, manage project risks and dependencies, and ensure the consistent delivery of value to clients.

The ideal candidate combines strong delivery management experience with sufficient technical knowledge to effectively support Microsoft project execution, solution planning, and stakeholder discussions.

Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

- Own end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timeline, milestones, budget awareness, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Support resource planning, consultant allocation, and capacity management.
- Monitor project progress, manage change requests, and proactively address blockers and delivery risks.
- Ensure project documentation, reporting, and delivery standards are consistently maintained.





Client Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication, alignment, and executive reporting.
- Lead steering committees, status reviews, delivery checkpoints, and escalation management activities.

Technical Team Coordination

- Coordinate consultants, architects, and subject matter experts across distributed delivery teams.
- Ensure team members have clear priorities, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Monitor delivery quality and facilitate resolution of technical and operational challenges.

Technical Leadership

- Participate in solution planning discussions across Microsoft technologies.
- Provide technical oversight to support solution planning, customer discussions, and implementation decisions.
- Review solution approaches and identify potential technical delivery risks.

Required Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, Engagement Management, Consulting Management, or similar leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading client-facing consulting engagements and delivering complex technology projects involving multiple stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Sufficient technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies to effectively lead delivery and client discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive delivery outcomes with limited oversight.
- Fluent or native English is required.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working for Microsoft Partners, consulting firms, or qualified services organizations.
- Experience leading Microsoft consulting engagements for enterprise clients.
