Job Summary

Krown Rust Control is Canada's premier defense against vehicle corrosion. Partnered with Dial-A-Tire, a trusted automotive institution in the Halifax Regional Municipality for over 30 years, our Bedford facility is seeking a highly organized Shop Administrator. This is not a standard receptionist role; we need an operational backbone.

You will independently oversee the administrative procedures of our front-of-house, coordinate daily scheduling between the sales counter and the service bays, and ensure our high-volume seasonal operations run with absolute precision.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate Operations: Oversee and coordinate daily administrative procedures for the facility, and continually review, evaluate, and implement new front-of-house processes to improve efficiency.
- Manage Schedules & Priorities: Establish daily work priorities, coordinate complex service schedules with the technical team, and ensure high-volume rust-proofing and tire installation deadlines are met.
- Data & Inventory Management: Carry out administrative activities associated with customer invoicing, resolving billing discrepancies, and systematically tracking inventory levels for rust-control products, shop supplies, and tires.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily or weekly operational reports, manage sales summaries, and handle routine corporate correspondence for the management team.
- Client Administration: Administer new customer accounts, process payments, and ensure warranty documentation and service histories are accurately recorded in the shop's database.

Qualifications

- Completion of secondary school is required; a post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, office management, or a related field is a strong asset.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in an administrative, operational coordination, or office management role.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities, with a proven ability to manage high-volume workflows and establish daily priorities independently.
- Strong digital fluency for navigating point-of-sale systems, inventory databases, and scheduling software.
- Asset: Previous administrative experience working in the automotive industry, dealership environments, or high-volume service centers.

What We Offer:

- A competitive hourly wage of $18.00 to $21.00 per hour with steady, full-time hours (32-45 hours per week).
- A dynamic, professional work environment partnered with a highly reputable, national Canadian brand and a 30 year-old local enterprise.
- Substantial employee discounts on rust protection, automotive repairs, and tires.
- The opportunity to take ownership of administrative operations and build a stable, long-term career.

Join us as a Shop Administrator and become a vital part of our team dedicated to operational excellence! Your organizational prowess combined with technical understanding will help drive our success forward while supporting a collaborative work environment focused on growth and innovation.
