Atlas also specializes in bypass pumping systems, providing pump rentals, sales and service. Summary of Function:
Atlas Dewatering Corporation is looking for a General Yard Labourer to help with cleaning and organizing the service yard and shop. The role involves delivering materials and operating various tools and machines, including forklifts, power drills, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
The General Yard
Labourer will also support equipment inventory management, assist with yard operations and equipment maintenance as directed by the Branch Manager or Service Manager, and communicate inventory updates to the office administration team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop and yard.
- Prepare equipment and materials for shipment to projects.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Handle the delivery and return of equipment and materials.
- Inspect, maintain, and restock equipment returned from projects or clients.
- Prepare, organize,
and submit forms related to material/equipment tracking, inventory control, and order quality control (such as pick lists, shipping, receiving, and return/exchange documents).
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the office daily.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required; graduate of a technical/vocational training program is preferred.
- Must have and maintain own tools, both metric and standard.
- Must have solid oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multi task environment.
- Proven ability to operate under pressure.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must be willing to be on call 24/7.
- Valid Class G Drivers Licence in good standing
- Ability to lift varying loads, up to 70lbs
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
