: As the Shop Manager at our boat assembly plant, you will oversee daily operations, all aspects of the assembly process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. You will lead a team of skilled workers, manage production schedules, and coordinate with various departments to achieve our production goals. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the entire boat assembly process, ensuring timely completion of production schedules.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of assembly workers, promoting a culture of collaboration, safety, and high performance.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet our stringent standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials and parts, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely availability.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production.
- Safety Compliance:



Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks that may arise, maintaining smooth operations.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze production reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Shop Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
