Henderson Electrical Installations Ltd. is seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Shop Manager to join our team full-time.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working independently, coordinating multiple priorities, and helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. The Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing our warehouse and shop operations, coordinating company vehicles, and supporting our crews with material and equipment deliveries to job sites.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized shop and warehouse
- Organize electrical materials, tools, equipment, and inventory
- Receive, organize, and put away incoming materials and deliveries
- Prepare and coordinate materials required for job sites
- Deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment from job sites
- Coordinate company fleet vehicles, including scheduled maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service appointments
- Keep track of vehicle maintenance requirements and help ensure vehicles remain safe and operational
- Coordinate the movement and availability of company vehicles as required
- Assist with general shop, property, and building maintenance
- Maintain organization of storage areas, tools, equipment, and supplies
- Monitor commonly used supplies and identify items that need to be reordered
- Assist field crews and Management with day-to-day operational needs
- Perform other shop, warehouse, fleet, and delivery duties as required

Qualifications The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly organized and dependable




- Be comfortable working independently and managing daily priorities
- Have robust communication and time-management skills
- Be comfortable driving company vehicles and making deliveries to construction sites
- Have a valid driver's licence and a good driving record
- Be physically capable of loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
- Have basic knowledge of vehicle and building maintenance
- Be comfortable working in a warehouse/shop and construction environment
- Have previous warehouse, construction, electrical, fleet, or maintenance experience considered an asset

Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Primarily based at the Henderson Electrical shop, with regular travel to job sites for deliveries and pickups
