Site Superintendent for single family and duplex homes. Must have pervious experience building singlefamily/multifamily housing. The successful candidate must be primarily task-focused, requiring a direct leadership style that encourages results though collaboration. Critical to this position, the Site Superintendent must be able to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite through effective communication and shared knowledge with others.
Responsibilities
- Managing on-site construction activities on a daily basis
- Supervising and coordinating personnel and subcontractors
- Ensuring schedules are followed and projects are executed effectively
- Effectively communicating with senior managers and support personnel
- Ensuring site safety is in accordance with strict standards of our Safety Program and legislative requirements
- Daily record-keeping
- Inspecting work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized site – both interior and exterior of homes
- Advises the Project Manager of anticipated problem areas, and initiates required corrective action.
Qualifications:
- First Aid, WHMIS
- Red Seal considered an asset
- Sound knowledge of construction
- Ability to read blueprint plans
- An excellent customer service focus is required, as are strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Pervious experience building single family/multifamily wood frame homes
Business Requirements
- 5 or more years of supervisory experience in residential construction
- Results-driven with a focus on future growth and development
- Able to work well in an extremely fast-paced, deadline driven environment with proven time management and organizational skills
Job Types: Full time, Fixed term contract Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
