GG Calgary is hiring experienced Skidsteer Operators for the upcoming winter season!

Are you an experienced equipment operator looking for winter work with the opportunity to earn plenty of hours when snow hits? We’re looking for dependable operators who are comfortable working long shifts and can be counted on during snow events.

PLEASE NOTE

This position is not a permanent full-time position to start. Work is based on snowfall and our snow removal needs.

When a snow event reaches our 5 cm trigger, we dispatch our operators. During larger snowfalls, there can be lots of available hours, with shifts of up to 14 hours.

If you’re looking for a winter position where you can pick up significant hours during snow events, this is a great chance.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operating skidsteers and loaders to remove snow from commercial properties.
- Clearing parking lots, access roads, and other designated areas.
- Pushing, piling, and relocating snow safely and efficiently.
- Completing equipment inspections before and during shifts.
- Reporting any equipment issues or maintenance concerns.
- Following direction from supervisors and working as part of a larger snow removal crew.
- Working nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays when snow events require it.





What We're Looking For

- Hands-on experience operating a skidsteer and loader.
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Dependable and available when snow events occur.
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold and changing winter conditions.
- Able to handle physically demanding work and extended shifts.
- Safety-focused with a strong work ethic.

Potential for Full-Time Employment While this role begins as a seasonal/on-call position, it can lead to something more.
