Role description

Job Title : Slack Architect Insurance Distribution

Job Location: Canada (Remote is also fine)

Role Summary

Architect and govern Slack as a secure integrated collaboration platform to enable realtime engagement across agents brokers underwriting and operations driving faster policy lifecycle and distribution efficiency

Technical Skills

Event-driven architecture case notifications underwriting updates

Integration with enterprise platforms

Security compliance controls data retention eDiscovery audit trails

Cloud integration exposure AWS Lambda API Gateway EventBridge preferred

Business Requirements Insurance Distribution

Design collaboration aligned to distribution lifecycle

Lead Case Intake Underwriting Issuance Servicing

Enable secure external collaboration with agents brokers and partners Slack Connect

Support real time case tracking underwriting queries and escalation workflows

Drive workflow automation to reduce manual coordination across sales ops

Deliver measurable outcomes

15- 25 cycle time reduction

20 - 30 faster query resolution

Improved agent productivity

Communication Leadership Skills

Strong stakeholder management across sales underwriting operations and IT

Ability to translate business workflows into collaboration architecture

Executive level communication and reporting KPIs adoption metrics

Change management adoption enablement training playbooks

Cross-functional collaboration with security compliance and platform teams

Experience

10-15 years overall experience

3-5 years in Slack Enterprise Grid preferred

Prior experience in insurance distribution or financial services

Compensation range: $140,559.00 to $190,633.00 per year
