Position Details

This is a permanent part time opportunity offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the year.

Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.

Training is also provided before your first shift!

Schedule: • Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $21/per hour

- Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local Sobeys grocery stores
- Share key product information and answer customer questions
- Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions
- Prepare simple food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts)
- Maintain a clean and organized sampling station (set up, maintain, and tear down)
- Complete reporting after each shift




- Must have a valid Smart Serve Certification and Food Safety Certificate prior to the interview
- Must be fully available Thursday-Sunday
- Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
- Driver and access to own car is an asset
- Confident engaging with customers and delivering key product messaging
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
- Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and to complete reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
