Position Overview

Mountain View LP is seeking reliable and dependable Snow Plow Drivers to join our seasonal winter maintenance team. This is a casual, on-call position with hours determined by snowfall, weather conditions, and operational needs.

Successful candidates must be willing and prepared to respond when called during major snowfalls and other winter weather events. Drivers will work alongside other on-call snow removal staff to ensure our three gas station properties remain accessible, well maintained, and secure for customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a snow plow to clear parking lots, entrances, exits, and driving areas at our three gas station locations.
- Respond to on-call snow removal requests as required based on snowfall and weather conditions.
- Shovel snow from around fuel pump islands, entrances, walkways, and other areas that cannot be reached by the plow.
- Maintain clear and safe pathways for customers and employees.
- Apply salt or ice-melting products to high-traffic areas, walkways, entrances, and other areas where slipping hazards may develop.
- Monitor site conditions and address snow buildup, drifting, and icy areas as required.
- Work cooperatively with other on-call plow drivers to ensure all three locations are properly maintained.
- Take additional care when operating around fuel dispensers, buildings, vehicles, curbs, signage, and customers.
- Report any hazards, property damage, equipment concerns,



or unsafe conditions to management immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean/reliable driving record.
- Previous snow plowing or winter maintenance experience is preferred.
- Comfortable operating snow removal equipment safely in active commercial parking lots.
- Must be physically capable of shovelling snow and performing outdoor winter maintenance duties.
- Must be able to work outdoors in cold temperatures, heavy snowfall, and changing winter conditions.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between our three gas station locations.
- Must be dependable and available to respond on short notice when weather conditions require snow removal.
- Availability during early mornings, evenings, overnight periods, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on snowfall.

Schedule This is not a regularly scheduled position. Hours are based entirely on weather conditions and operational requirements. Employees will be contacted when snow removal is required and must be prepared to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of on-call snow plow drivers responsible for ensuring our properties are cleared, salted, accessible, and ready for customers and employees throughout the winter season.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and understand that timely snow removal is essential to keeping our locations operating safely during Northern Ontario winters.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
