Responsibilities
- Operate snow removal equipment such as a loader or back hoe with box blades to clear snow and ice from parking lots efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal machinery to ensure optimal performance throughout the season an asset.
- Conduct inspections of parking lot surfaces post-clearance to identify any hazards or areas needing additional attention.
- Maintain detailed logs of work completed, equipment used, and safety checks performed.
Skills
- Experience operating snow removal equipment such as a loader or back hoe with box blades.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures related to outdoor seasonal work.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, or general construction experience is beneficial for understanding terrain and safety protocols.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels.
- Robust communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to navigate to multiple site locations.
- Valid G license, with a clean abstract and the ability to get yourself to and from the starting job site location
