We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in patient care supporting clinical procedures and patient flow.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide support with comprehensive patient assessments, including taking patient histories, obtaining weights and blood pressures, and performing in-office urine tests
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all required equipment and supplies are available and functional
- Assist with medical treatments and procedures, including administering injections
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Coordinate care with external healthcare providers and community partners, including booking patients for surgery
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

- Demonstrates a compassionate, professional, and patient-centred approach to care
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage patient flow and clinical priorities effectively




- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with sensitivity to patient needs and confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy clinical team
- Able to prioritize competing demands while maintaining attention to detail and patient comfort
- Comfortable using EMR systems and clinical documentation tools to support accurate, timely charting
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound decision-making skills in a clinical setting
- Sound understanding of privacy legislation, confidentiality requirements, and respectful handling of sensitive patient information

Qualifications and Experience

- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to be certified
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in an OBGYN practice or primary care setting is a strong asset
- Experience with Telus PS Suites is an asset
