Retail Outlet Store Clerk

Job Overview

Join a locally owned company team in a part-time support role for our Retail Outlet store. This position will see the candidate work alongside, and under the direction of, the Store Manager as business continues to grow and our store is looking to extend hours of operation.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in a courteous, qualified manner
- Maintain accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures using POS (Point of Sale) system
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure attractive displays showcasing Company made or Company related product
- Provide clear product information and answer customer inquiries with excellent communication skills
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks such as checkout, stock replenishment, and customer assistance
- Support inventory management by conducting stock counts and assisting with inventory organization

Skills

- Experience in retail sales, or customer facing customer service roles




- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening capabilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, pricing calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and stock levels efficiently
- Ability to upsell products by understanding customer needs and offering suitable solutions

Please note: This position will see candidate working 3-4 shifts per week, including Saturdays. Pay: $16.75-$17.25 per hour
