Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer P.Eng to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing structural projects across various sectors, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions from concept through construction, supporting our mission to deliver resilient and sustainable infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Develop and review structural designs using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to produce exact drawings and models.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations utilizing tools like Mathcad to ensure integrity and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively through strong project management skills, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including drafting specifications and technical reports that clearly communicate design intent.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, oversee construction activities,
and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate structural solutions seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Maintain comprehensive records of design revisions, project documentation, and quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license (P.Eng) with active registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in structural engineering design and project management within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and drafting tools such as Bluebeam.
- Solid analytical skills with experience in structural analysis software like Mathcad or equivalent programs.
- Hands-on construction experience demonstrating practical understanding of building processes and site safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and building codes governing structural design practices.
