LN Land Development Technologies is looking for an experienced Survey Coordinator to join our Edmonton operations team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager , the Survey Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Project Managers and field operations with crew coordination, survey planning, field data processing, calculations, drafting, equipment coordination, and QA/QC .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced survey professional looking to combine their technical expertise with operations, coordination, and leadership responsibilities while supporting major construction and industrial projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Coordinate and support the day-to-day execution of survey projects
- Assist with field crew scheduling, work assignments, and resource planning
- Oversee field data submissions and ensure information is complete and accurate
- Process and review survey data using Trimble Business Center
- Perform survey calculations and prepare data for field crews
- Draft survey plans and reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Review drafted plans and ensure established QA/QC standards are followed
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to field crews
- Coordinate survey equipment, materials, and supplies
- Maintain accurate equipment and inventory records
- Support Project Managers with project planning and execution




- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide guidance, coaching, and supervision to employees when required
- Collaborate with other LN regional operations as needed
- Actively participate in LN and client HSE programs and promote a strong safety culture

WHAT YOU BRING

- Post-secondary diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in the geomatics/surveying industry
- Experience coordinating or managing survey field work
- In-depth knowledge of Trimble Business Center , including data processing and QA/QC
- Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Construction and major project surveying experience
- Bridge construction experience is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of survey calculations, field data, drafting, and reporting
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot field and technical survey issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and proven reliability
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to provide direction, coaching, and support to field personnel
- Desire to continue learning and developing new technical and leadership skills

WORK CONDITIONS This is an in-person position based in Edmonton, Alberta .

Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have the appropriate authorization required for ongoing employment.
