Job Summary

As an Edo Japan Team Member, you are responsible for providing friendly customer service while preparing and serving fresh, high-quality Japanese-inspired food in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure customers receive accurate orders, quality food, and a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Take customer orders accurately and process cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Prepare food according to Edo Japan recipes, food-safety standards, and portion guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble and serve customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and restaurant materials as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparing the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors during busy periods.
- Handle customer questions and concerns courteously and seek assistance from a supervisor when necessary.




- Follow company policies and procedures while contributing to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, and cleaning.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and order accuracy.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Work Environment

This position is based in a rapid-paced quick-service restaurant in Okotoks, Alberta. Team Members may work in both front-of-house and kitchen areas and are expected to maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, food quality, and safety.
