Telecommunications Tower Rigger / Tower Climber

Geocell Canada Inc. is hiring experienced Telecommunications Tower Riggers / Tower Climbers for projects across Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.

This is a tower climbing position. Candidates must have experience climbing telecommunications towers and be comfortable performing regular work at heights.

Key Responsibilities

- Climb telecommunications towers to perform installation, replacement, upgrade, and maintenance work
- Install and replace antennas, RRUs, mounts, and related telecommunications equipment
- Install and route fibre, hybrid cables, RF jumpers, and other cabling
- Perform rigging, hoisting, and lifting of equipment on towers
- Install and support microwave dishes and related equipment
- Assist with equipment upgrades and replacements
- Follow all tower climbing, fall protection, rescue, and site safety procedures
- Travel to project locations as required

Requirements

- Must currently be located in Canada
- Must be willing to relocate to Ontario, Alberta,



or British Columbia based on project requirements
- Previous telecommunications tower climbing or rigging experience
- Must be able and willing to climb telecommunications towers regularly
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in different weather conditions
- Physically capable of performing tower climbing and rigging duties
- Valid Canadian driver’s licence preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Willing to travel as required

Preferred Certifications

- Tower Climbing & Rescue
- Working at Heights / Fall Protection
- First Aid/CPR
- WHMIS

Experience with Ericsson equipment, antennas, RRUs, microwave systems, fibre, and RF cabling is an asset.
