Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires experience in logistics and a solid understanding of transportation operations. Key responsibilities include processing communications, scheduling updates, and verifying transactions with the accounting department.

You'll also assist drivers and cross-train within the dispatch office for coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate activities of drivers and fleet units effectively
- Monitor phones for customer and employee inquiries
- Communicate schedule changes and updates efficiently
- Train drivers on electronic dispatching systems
- Ensure compliance with hours of service regulations

Requirements:

- 2-5 years experience in logistics or transportation
- Strong delegation and management skills
- Familiarity with dispatch software and communication tools
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is necessary
