Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve high-quality food and beverages according to company standards, including coffee, sandwiches, baked goods, and other menu items
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling procedures to ensure freshness, quality, and safety of all products
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities




- Follow proper sanitation protocols including proper food storage, hygiene practices, and equipment cleaning
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Experience

- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling tools is advantageous
- Experience in cashiering or cashier responsibilities including cash handling and basic math skills is beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is a plus
- Restaurant or food industry background enhances your ability to thrive in this role
- Robust customer service skills with a positive attitude are essential for success
- Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail
