Ayr Welding is hiring a hands-on Tool Crib and Logistics Coordinator to support our shop and field crews by ensuring tools, equipment, consumables and materials are organized, tracked and ready when needed.

What You’ll Do

This hands-on role combines tool crib operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, local deliveries, and logistics coordination.

· Organize, track, and maintain company tools, equipment, consumables, and inventory.

· Receive, inspect, record, store, and distribute incoming materials and supplies.

· Monitor stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and help ensure tools and materials are available when needed.

· Load, unload, package, and prepare materials for shipment or pickup.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool crib, storage, warehouse, and yard areas.

· Conduct minor repairs on tools and equipment or arrange approved external service when required.

· Complete local pickups and deliveries using company vehicles, verify documentation, and secure tools and materials for safe transportation.

What We’re Looking For

Successful Candidates Will Bring:

· Relevant tool crib, inventory, warehouse or shipping/receiving experience





· Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools, equipment, and materials.

· Valid forklift certification and practical forklift-operating experience.

· A valid Class G driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record.

· Strong organization, attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.

· Basic computer skills.

Preferred Assets:

· Experience in welding, fabrication, industrial maintenance, or construction operations.

· Familiarity with ERP or inventory-management software is considered an asset.

· Working at Heights certification may be required for site visits.

Schedule and Work Environment

· Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

· Indoor and outdoor work in an industrial fabrication environment.

· Exposure to shop conditions, including noise, dust, welding operations, moving equipment, and changing outdoor conditions.

· Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and tools.

· Must be able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lb.

· Operation of forklifts, company vehicles, and other material-handling equipment.
