TRADE JOURNEYMAN HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC

Argo Road Maintenance is accepting resumes for the position of Trade Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for the Kamloops and Barriere Mechanical Shop.

Working a 4 on, 3 off shift pattern, the TJ Heavy Duty Mechanic’s position requires an individual who is competent, energetic and highly self-motivated. Applicants must be a licensed HD Mechanic with CVIP Certification, Welding Certification, valid B.C. Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement, and with several years’ experience with heavy duty, commercial, and transport equipment.

Hydraulic and electrical engine, power train and diagnostic repair experience would be an asset. Responsible for service, maintenance, and repair of vehicles, equipment and machinery as required for the fleet.
