Torque's Diesel Inc. is currently seeking experienced Underground Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our growing team supporting major mining operations across Canada.

As a Canadian mining maintenance company, Torque's Diesel provides skilled trades and workforce solutions to some of the country's leading underground and surface mining operations. We are looking for mechanics who take pride in their trade, possess strong diagnostic abilities, and understand the importance of keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently in demanding mining environments.

Responsibilities

- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on underground mining equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, powertrain, steering, and braking systems
- Complete scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Perform component replacements and major repairs
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately
- Work safely and effectively in underground mining environments
- Support equipment availability and production targets

Preferred Equipment Experience

Experience with any of the following equipment is considered a strong asset:
- Sandvik Loaders, Trucks, and Drills
- MacLean Bolters and Utility Equipment
- Epiroc Production and Development Equipment
- CAT Underground Equipment




- Underground Loaders
- Underground Haul Trucks
- Bolters
- Jumbos
- Utility Equipment

Qualifications

- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician preferred
- Underground mining experience considered a solid asset
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with 12V and 24V electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship
