Become a key leader in Indigenous education as the Director of the Indigenous Student Centre at the University of Manitoba. This vital role centers on empowering and supporting Indigenous students in their academic pursuits.

Reporting directly to the Associate Vice-President (Indigenous) Students, you will lead a dedicated team to create impactful programs and services that foster a sense of belonging and academic success. Your strategic vision will support the University’s commitment to Indigenous achievement, driving reconciliation and enhanced student experiences.

Key Responsibilities:



• Design and implement initiatives for Indigenous student support • Collaborate with faculties and community to enhance student experience • Manage the Indigenous Student Centre’s budget and resources • Promote Indigenous achievement, well-being, and reconciliation • Lead outreach efforts to connect with prospective Indigenous students

Requirements: • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field • Five years' experience in a leadership role in education • Proven experience working with Indigenous populations • Solid organizational and leadership capabilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
