Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Position: Part-Time, with potential for Full time

Start Date: As soon as available

Our veterinary clinic is looking for a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, hardworking, and enjoys working with both animals and their owners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy veterinary workplace, have a positive attitude, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities May Include:

- Greeting clients and providing friendly, compassionate customer service
- Answering phone calls and assisting with appointment scheduling
- Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians with appointments and procedures
- Handling, restraining, and caring for patients
- Assisting with basic treatments and patient care
- Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized clinic
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and treatment areas
- Assisting with laboratory procedures, including sample collection and processing
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Stocking supplies and assisting with inventory
- Helping with general reception and administrative duties as needed




- Providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families
- Other general veterinary assistant duties as required

Previous veterinary or animal care experience is an asset, but is not required. We are willing to train the right person! We are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, compassion, and willingness to learn. Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
