Large Animal Veterinary Assistant

Are you passionate about large-animal care and ready for an active role both in-clinic and out in the field? Join our tight-knit team at Green Mobile Veterinary Services as a Large Animal Veterinary Assistant.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare and break down appointment spaces and equipment for equine, bovine, and mixed-species patients
- Assist DVMs and RVTs during routine exams, minor procedures, and imaging
- Clean and sanitize treatment areas, instruments, and clinic spaces to our high standards
- Maintain, stock, and organize medical supplies and farm-call inventory
- Ready our farm-call truck each morning—checking equipment, restocking supplies—and secure everything at day’s end
- Support safe animal handling, restraint, and basic patient monitoring

What We’re Looking For
- Genuine love of large animals, strong work ethic, and physical stamina
- Experience on farms or in veterinary settings is an asset (students in vet tech, animal science, or agriculture welcome)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and comfort driving a fully-equipped truck/trailer
- Willingness to learn, take direction,



and adapt to a mobile practice environment
